ZingoTel respects your privacy. We collect customer information on our web site so that we can provide consumers with a multitude of broadband communications products and services, resolutions of service issues or questions, bill customers for service, and for internal market research, including marketing directed toward potential consumers.
In addition to the information customers knowingly give us on our web site, our servers collect anonymous statistics such as the web page visited, time of day, what type of browser was used, and the IP address that visit originated from. We use this information to assess the ease-of-use of our site, monitor the performance of our servers, and to improve our overall level of service to our clients and subscribers.
The ZingoTel web site uses "cookies" to maintain your online session and keep track of your order progress. The "cookies" contain a random string of digits and are saved on your hard drive. The cookie does not store any personal information. You may modify your browser settings to disable cookies although certain parts of our web site may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
We protect the information we collect by using various encryption and security tools. We take security seriously, and give careful attention to maintaining the security of the information we store. We will use information that customers have knowingly submitted on our web site to comply with legal/governmental authorities, and to investigate activities that may disrupt the service or violate our Terms of Service.
If a consumer terminates their ZingoTel service, we purge the credit card number from our billing servers once the customer's ZingoTel account is paid in full. We retain call detail and account records for our internal records.
ZingoTel does not sell any products or services designed to be purchased by children. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe that a minor has submitted personally identifiable information to us, please contact us at legal@zingotel.com so we can remove the information.
We do not listen to or record conversations using our phone service, except to comply with legal/governmental authorities. We do not sell or give information to other companies. We provide customers with the option of not receiving direct marketing of our new products and/or services.
