1Are there any requirements for using this service?
You need to have a broadband internet connection such as cable or DSL to use this service.
2Can I use this service in my country?
You can use this service from any location in the world that has a broadband internet connection. As broadband availability continues to expand in countries throughout the world, even remote areas can now take advantage high speed internet and broadband phone service.
3How does broadband phone service work?
When you make a broadband phone call, your voice is digitized and then relayed over the internet to your intended destination anywhere in the world. When calling a traditional non-internet phone line, your call is handed to a local phone carrier at the destination point. Learn more.
4What do I need to install to use this service?
We'll send you a broadband phone adapter when you sign up. Plug any touchtone phone into the adapter, and then connect the adapter to your network. You'll now be able to make broadband phone calls using your touchtone phone.
5Who can I call with this service?
Anyone connected to the public phone network. You'll be able to receive calls from traditional phone lines as well. Additionally, you can call any user on our network for free when you have our service.
6Will I get a regular phone number?
Yes. You'll be able to choose a phone number in any of our supported area codes. Add additional Virtual Phone Numbers to let people in other area codes call you using the local phone rate!
7Can I send faxes?
Yes. Just plug your fax machine into the provided phone jack. Our ">Business Unlimited plan comes with a free dedicated fax line which can be used at the same time as your primary line.
