Intel’s 2006 International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) deploys ZingoTel VoIP
The future of communications is evident at Intel’s 2006 International Science and Engineering Fair. New technologies, including VoIP and IP-PBX business systems, take center stage for providing attendees, students, judges and the press corp. with domestic and international calling using broadband phone service by Zingo Telecom Inc.

2006 International Science and Engineering Fair attendees get exclusive access to use and fully test the Linksys® LVS 9000 voice system for Small Business and SPA2100 residential IP Phone adapter. In total, 30 IP phone lines with global calling will be made accessible for use by attendees and press personnel. Participants are able test the functionality and quality of service by talking to anyone, anywhere in the world at no charge.
LVS 9000 provides a complete IP telephony system for small businesses with up to 16 users. With an Auto Attendant feature, small businesses can customize their voice network to direct calls to the right person or department and program the system to allow on- and off-business hour greetings. A promotional message can be created to greet or provide information to callers placed on hold or users can “pipe in” their music of choice. The system also allows users to park calls, fax over the Internet and use the intercom for paging. A fully functional LVS 9000 system including four handset stations can purchased for just under $1,000.
The SPA-2100 connects standard telephones and fax machines to IP-based data networks and are inexpensive, easy-to-install and simple-to-use for residential and home businesses. The SPA-2100 features two POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) ports for connection to existing analog telephones, fax machines, PBX and key system communication platforms. The SPA-2100 includes an Ethernet interface for connecting to a home or office PC (LAN) as well as an Ethernet connection to the broadband modem or router (WAN).
